2004 envoy dash removal help

Has anyone removed the dash for a 2004 envoy, to remove the stock cd player and install an aftermarket? i got as far as pulling the top half off, but there are two screws in the bottom that i cannot figure out how to remove. the center console is blocking them, but i can’t imagine you have to remove it because thats a ridiculous amount of work. theres several screws, bolts, harnesses that would have to be removed, and the boot shaft also.

any ideas as to a simpler or more appropriate way??

sledge hammer

why are you removing the dash LMAO
:picard:

the 2 screws at the bottom are a little tough to get too but you can get to them. NO NEED TO REMOVE THE ENTIRE DASH. just the radio bezel

Just wait till it’s out of warranty and it falls right off

to get to the radio bezel you have to take off the 2 screws

Bring it to me and let me do it, those are pretty basic vehicles to put decks in. Like dreid said, 2 screws and the rest pulls out.
