dont really have anything else up for grabs besides my stock ignition, buschur boost controller and my ARP headstuds out of my stock motor.
stock turbo will always fall off in the upper RPMS, but the DLI is a great unit, i used it for a year and it worked very well. i ran a forge BOV before going speed density and never had any issues with mine.
Well I’m running a 30r set up with aem and most of the supporting mods for 400ish power but the mods I’m lacking are ignition and a better set of cams it has hks 272 which are a lil better over stcok but don’t really cut it lol.but after those things I should be good.and then someday shooting for your numbers haha.
gonna need a stock ecu to pass inspection when it comes lol. those cams do work well for what they are however. i had buddyclub 272’s (basically a HKS 272) and i made 515whp and went 10.70 @ 135…
^no cuz its a 3065. And like I said the bov leaks up around 27-30pounds and I don’t have a dli so yea I shouldn’t make 400 right now. I’m still figureing the car out because this is the way I bought it so I’m going off what the last guy did lol. But it has a fresh emery tune on it which I have absolutly no complaints about. And runs crisp for what it is.
That forge should hold. The throttle delay of the AEM was annoying as hell on my old Evo. The DLi2 was nice, worked fine for me.
ON TOPIC… … … … .
I’m looking forward to more updates on this thread. I’ve been following it on here. Pauls shit is always done very clean. I can’t help but still love evos… ha
problem solved! frankly i was scared to go down the track on drag radials, i dont think it would be a wise decision on my part. i got a stellar deal on everything so i couldnt pass it up. but on the street im still going to run my stock wheels with my hoosier DR’s, its hoosier heaven!
