after a long day of traveling, everything is in dave buschurs hands! he already has a block machined for me so that will cut down some time of waiting, he’ll start cracking on everything else next week. then its just waiting on my pistons/rods to come in. should have the motor back in my hands around christmas!

really like the new gauge pod vs the old one, it’s cool how many accessories and mods for stock parts they have for these cars compared to other cars

What size is the plenum? I’m hoping they’re saying it’s small compared to some massive one they also make?
i dont know the actual size of the plenum mike, but its quite smaller than the large plenum they make!
it was between this manifold or buschurs fabricated manifold, after all his testing of numerous manifolds his fabricated manifold and the DI small plenum came out on top. the DI made like 7whp and only a few more ft/lb of tq than his

finally an update! 2 months after placing my order for my new clutch, its FINALLY in my hands… this thing is schweet!
ill be giving david a call tomorrow for the status on my motor, the holidays kind of delayed things a tad with the parts on it. but im in no rush anyhow, it will probably be done next week sometime!

my motor plans have changed, david called me this morning saying my rods should be in this week, but then told me he had a proposition for me…
his offers are like crack, i cant just say no. he offered me the 2.0 long rod aluminum rod motor out of his car, motor has a bunch of dyno pulls and a couple track passes. i couldnt say no to this as he offered it to me at the same price i was paying for my motor i was going to get. im getting his COMPLETE longblock out of his car which even has better valves in his head than the one i had purchased as well. also getting his modded oil pan with crank scraper too!
when he took the car to the track with this motor it went a best of 9.3 @ 158 on the same turbo/fuel i will be using… this should be interesting
