Can you put the MBR dates in there as well. LES and RIT are about the same distance from me so I head out there too.

All local MBR events at Lake Erie Speedway
Event 1 – June 8th
Event 2 – July 6th
Event 3 – August 10th
Event 4 – August 24th
Event 5 – September 7th
Event 6 – October 12th

i feel foxes are better left to the drag strip although Vaughn Gitten jr drifting his foxes is pretty sweet!

In all honesty, whichever car has the best tires will be the most fun. I’ve autocrossed a Boxster and I’ve autocrossed a Firebird - there are benefits to light RWD precision and there are benefits to huge horsepower - I like them both.

There’s nothing to say you can’t come to multiple events and try them both out.

Are these SCCA events? Are there vehicle restrictions or checks prior to the event? If so, please let me know, I am very interested in more information about these.

Yes these are SCCA events. I don’t know of any restrictions but they check to make sure the vehicle is safe to operate.

I should be at every one and turbo’d half way through the season, I know I won’t be winning because I’ll be running in SMF but hope to pick up some autocross slicks and at least throw down some good times.

If you run r-compounds they throw you immediately into PRO class unless your car is stock, then you’re in “S-R” class.
Either way, no r-compounds in SMF.

Safety gear…I don’t have a helmet. Suggestions on where to get one? I might as well buy one.

whatever you buy make sure it is snell approved, i also think it cant be more than 10? Years old?
