Z32 26mm calipars vs. 30mm TT calipars?
is one easier then the other to install on an S13 or is it the same?
The same to install, just different clearance issues …
26 work with 7 spoke rims
30 needs a 5mm spacer plate
SEARCH FUNCTION can be found under the page banner
26mm and 30mm both clear on stock s14 5 bolt rims fyi.
same brake conversion lines and all???
now i need 5 lug conversion.
You can use a common hole and make your rotors 8-hole, 5/4 lug, just redrill
as for lines I used the stock flex lines that are factory Z32 lines, if you get lines with your calipers, otherwise the stock 240 lines will not work
ya i know tha. and im gettin 5 lug so its easier and more wheel choices.
The 300zx brake conversion has been covered more times than Jenna Jameson’s face.
- Yes, sames lines.
- No, drill your rotors to 4 lug.
look here:
you can use stock lines - the 240sx end fitting will thread into the z32 caliper
You can but it’s a bad idea. The Banjo fittings can come off.
I think his question was do both the 26mm and 30mm calipers use the same lines. Yes.
You can also use the stock 300zx lines as long as you have both parts. The Z uses both a short hard line (whick mates to the caliper) and a rubber line which mates that hard line to the chassis. The 300zx rubber line is a perfect fit to the 240 chassis. It’s just rare to find someone selling calipers with the complete (2 piece) Z lines. That, and most times people are looking to upgrade to stainless steel lines anyways.
ya i jus wanted to know if there was a differenc i fi was swapping in the 26mm or the 30mm. it would b on or the other and if i could still use the same lines for both but i probably will go with the conversion lines.

bad idea? banjo fittings dont move once tightened in, those tabs are just to keep it in place while tightening, do u have any idea how many cars use banjo fittings? oh great new invention, loctite fun to say and it smells like cherrys, lets all say it, L O C T I T E
