If you have skills you can drift any car. 240’s are not the ideal drift car stock but with the right parts they can be.
your car would only be good once u get ride of that CRAPPY suspension it has! but its still a boat of a car…any car can be drifted but it just takes different techniques
Yeah the stock suspension on our cars sucks nuts.
Rob what are you talking about, boat of a car?? My car weighed 2910 last year and Silvia 1 weighed what 2750??? Not that big of a difference.
Z31s have poor stock rear suspension for anti squat. Z32s have great anti squat geometry at the back.
Yes it does. Is that a good thing for drifting? its definately not a help for drag racing though.
That’s not its stock original weight though, is it? Based on your pics, it looks like you have given your car the slim-fast weight reduction diet. Am I wrong?
haha jason ur car weighs that much…not this guys nugga!
That was before I pulled all this stuff out. Only thing missing when it weighed that was a/c. But I had an intercooler and a few other things added so it pretty much weighed stock weight. My car doesn’t have all the add ons though like power windows/locks, security, compass/accelometer and random useless things that came on these cars. I have a sf (base model).
I hope mine weighs under 2800 this years.
Haha, all that sound deadener…
my Z31 with a passenger, fill tank of gas and a trunk full of stuff was like 3400 lbs.
Yeah exactly so the actual car probably weighs around 3000. What options do you have.

All of them. power everything, digi everything, tonneau cover, plus the 84ae skirts and flares and Kaminari front end. 2 seater though.
well id say the z32 werks alright for drifting…this kid in a white z32 has been comin since we started fridays at bud park…hes gettin better quickly…altough they do seem to wear out front tires fairly quickly becaus of the weight…but cant be any worse than an aristo, cresta, markII etc. heavier 4 door cars…id say give it a shot…sway bars help lots, along with drift pinnapples…

If you download the “GRIP Volume 1 and 2” videos, there are lots of clips with 300’s drifting.
