not quite sure if it is exhaust gas return
theres a pipe that comes off the exhuast and goes into a smaller box with some kind of control valve then goes into the airbox
my question is can i remove all of that, providing i fill the holes in the exhaust pipe and airbox?
will it affect anything, make it run worse? things like that?
thanks
Yes you can just remove all of the junk if you want, just make sure to plug everything up after your done. Apparently the AIV only work till the car has warmed up then it doesnt do much.
sounds good
thanks

When I got my car the first thing I did was get rid of the EGR and i re-did all my vaccumes and got rid of my AC and charcol canister. Looks much better and the idea of burnt gasses returning into my intake was a good enough reason to throw that junk out.
