Don’t use a razor blade to slice the hose of a pushlock. You scratch the barb surface and it can create a leak zone. Use dikes and side cut the hose up close to the side of the barb. It will relieve the hose and allow it to stretch over the barbs.

Agreed, and if I scratch the barb, I just touch it lightly with a file. Zero issues, ever.

I would bet a 200lb person could do it off -6an without pause. Hell I may go try it at the shop next week and take a picture :haha

Again, agreed. Was just using 1/2" to be safe.
