Thanks you. Nobody else realizes that that nice little loophole only applies to violations and minor infractions. That is what I was trying to get across.
fuckin cops…
they are still better then the idiots at the homeland security/border patrol at the rainbow…
ill remember those bastards.
There still is the loophole. Yes, he can chase you down and pull you over. Some of you fail to realize that since he is out of his jurisdiction he needs to get Tonawanda involved, seeing the infraction took place in Tonawanda, not Amherst. So if the offense took place in Tonawanda, with you never being in Amherst, and he pulled you over in Tonawanda and arrested you and charged you in Amherst court he is in the wrong.
You need to relies not all cops know the law to well. Thats what lawyers are for.
Think of this. Is it okay for a cop to sit across the street of a bar waiting for people to come out and pull them over for suspicion of DWI because he saw them leaving a bar? The answer is no, because that would be entrapment. An Orchard Park cop got busted for that same exact thing a few years back.
woohoo another thread filled with hiv
LOL; funny part is, my buddy is a server at a restaurant/bar in Knoxville Tenn. right in the middle of their downtown… the cops literally wait outside the bars for people to come out stumbling; then they either bust them for “Public Intox”, or wait for them to get into a car and then bust them pulling out of the lot for DWI/DUI.
I WATCHED this going on when I visited him about 2 years ago and asked him about it. Gotta love the south.
