Starting fluid (ether). Should work with anything similarly flammable, but ether is preferred. You need something explosive though - a slow burn wouldn’t work.

You be a man and use a pry bar. It’s hard at first but after doing it a bunch it’s alright. Had to do it all the time for the race car, but we had other methods of setting the bead.

I did this years ago on a tire we put on taurus for a friend of mine. I was probably 17 and we were using crowbars tire-irons and screwdrivers to get it on the rim, huge PITA.

Been there done that. A bead blaster is safer but too bulky of a tool to carry around.
