So I have my car listed up on Kijiji (for $6700) and this clown e-mails me about the car.
It gets heated right away but the moment I showed interest in his ‘prized possession’ hes all of a sudden Mr. Nice Guy. I eventually chill him out and even try to convince him to bring his 911 to DIG track event.
Makes me wonder if people suddenly think they can walk all over you because they make 6-figures or whatever. :hsugh:
Anywho this made my afternoon somewhat entertaining. Enjoy.

You have a $50K Porsche and you’re trying to haggle me out of a car worth less than $7K?
But hey, props on the Porsche 911. I’ve always wanted one but my dad could never afford it.
Let me know if your dad can pitch in another $3000 on top of your existing $3500 offer. Then we’re set.

No need to get all hostile papi. It’s all cool.
Surprised you aren’t tracking your Porsche. What’s the specific model of Porsche is it?
And where do you plan to track your car if you don’t mind me asking?

2001 911 carrera turbo, 3.6L, why i dont track my car , because its to mint to even be driven in the rain. Thats why im looking for another fast opportunity for the track, i would track it at cayuga. I just dont want a spend alot on a car that Im going to beat the hell out of. I also have a 5.0L mustang That i used to track , but Its just to fucken heavy.

Nice P911.
I used to own a 5.0L ('89 - pretty stock) before I bought the 240. Fun to drag but sucked at handling, hence why I got the 240.
The 240sx I primarily tracked on a road course and only ran it at drag a few times. The unsprung clutch sucks for launching (and daily driving).
After doing drag and road course, road course is much more fun considering you’re driving the car a lot longer than 13sec.
You should bring the Porsche to a track event my buddy holds in Dunnville if you are interested in driving with turns and not just straight. Dunnville is opposite end of Cayuga (you probably saw the sign when turning right at the Shell).
Track event page is here : http://www.digtrackdays.com/

I would but I just couldnot do that to it. Ive been taking the best care of this car since 02 when I bought 1 year old, with 4000 kms. It now has 15000, Its onyl a sunday driver now, because we needed a family vehicle. So I would never want to put that kind of stress on all the parts including the paint, that doensot even have one scratch ding dent or even paint chip.
