Hah! I should’ve warned yall about the cop trap on Babcock between the lake the pool…I live 3 seconds from there and see the cops nailing kids all the time while walking my dog around the pool/Pie Traynor.

County cops rampage this strip between the lake and the pool, all summer long- they sit in a few cuts in the woods above the road. You can avoid this strip coming from any direction- there’s a few ways around it (for example, Chad probably could’ve turned right up Kummer, left on West Ridge, and then straight onto Hemlock to the pool). If you’ve got a loud exhaust/tinted windows/waddever, you’re better off avoiding this strip of Babcock like the plague during the summer months.

I live further up Babcock towards 910, and my day job was down McKnight and my night job was at the North Park Lounge, so I had to travel that strip of Babcock 4 times a day all summer… they have that nice little spot up in the woods where that old grove used to be. When the bushes and brush start growing in, they get damn near invisible up there, and they do sit there all the time.
