Pulling tint off a car that’s had it on awhile SUCKS something fierce.

I used nail polish remover/mineral spirits and a razor .Did the job just took a while.
Heat gun, razor blade, and ammonia-based solvent. It’s all there is to it.
Tint comes off really easy. Spray Windex or ammonia or other ammonia based window solvent on tint. Cover with a sheet of plastic from a black garbage bag. Let it sit in the sun re applying ammonia when ever it looks dry. Peel tint of with little to no scraping. This works especially well on back glass with defogger! Try not to get ammonia on interior fabrics, plastics, trim ect… I recommend diluting with plenty of water. Done…
PS. The tint turned purple because of ammonia based solvents such as Windex in the first place. Use only alcohol based window cleaner like Invisible Glass on tint.
Ill take the tint off for $50. Its not that bad just time consuming
I used kerosene. Cuz that’s what men do.
