That could be the problem if its thinking its not in neutral it won’t start (safety feature) I would play around with the wires from the shifter so it completes the circut ( make it think its in netral) I’ll do some quick research and see if i can find out what color wires control neutral.
thx for the help Donkey but i have a manual. i grounded the reverse switch alrdy to see if that was the problem and wasnt. the by the time it was time to move onto the nuetral it was to dark and cold to work on it. i really wanna get this thing running in the next week or so. i wanna ride b4 the snow comes and al the trails are feet deep with snow
Do you have a multi meter to check for power? check neutral light, start button and ignition for power. With everything on start at the starter and work your way up to the switches. Good luck!
i do not have one
HF has them for $10 and you would have been riding it today lol.
ok got a little farther with the problem. i replaced the starter and charged my battery overnight. now i can start the warrior with bridging the connection on the starter relay but i still get no power from the battery for the headlights, starter button, or the reverse or nuetral lights. im loosing my mind but atleast im closer. any ideas?
