I went to Joey’s (Joey Tomatos) one night and this guy who looked and spoke like J-Rock started “baam! that’s the shit right there!” to his girl.
but he got it right: it was a Silvia, and he knew what a CA18 was, and totally flipped on the Gramlights, they’re only 57S. 
saying “oh SNAP!” whenever he saw something he liked.
my friend and i were dumbfounded. J-Rock knows Silvias.
heh … I’d take it any day over the old dudes that come up to muscle car owners, lie, say they “used to own one, but had to sell it due to ; marriage, kids, dogs, small farm animals; but I sure do regret selling it” but then they eventually talk too much and start owning themselves.

I never get asked about drifting. But that’s ok, cause we all know S13s and S14s are the only cars that drift.

Which celica do you have? I used to have a ST162 (first FWD one) until it rusted to death and I scrapped it. It was a great car though, very reliable, good fuel economy, pulled hard as hell.
People have 30 minute convo’s with me at red lights…Ohh ive been looking for one of those for a while, how much did u pay what have you done to it…My gfs with me most of the time and she relizes how much of a POS her 88hp precidia is…no one glances at her car…till they see blonde hair…but then their not looking at her car…meh.

Well, some of you may know i’m in an MK4 golf right? Well, on the occasion i do drive to school and park there, i feel relatively safe so i leave my mp3 player in the car hooked up to the casette-stereo jack and i leave the Iriver in the cupholder and occasionally lean it against my dash.
Well, a week or two ago when i parked there, i came out with some friends to go grab some lunch at McDicks or TacoSh*ts when i saw some little juniors standing beside my COMPLETELY STOCK Golf pointing into the driverside.
Looking a little sketchy i walked a little faster towards my car only to hear.
“Yo shit man! This car has a turbo! Look at the boost controller!” (which is actually my iRiver sitting in a cupholder)
“I bet an asian guy drives this. It looks like it has some japanese body kit on it.”
and the highlight of the day… drumroll
“Yo you think this hatchback is a levin or a trueno?”
a ford probe is comparable to a S13 for sure…My gf called me at work bitching saying “Ohh i know your not at work i just saw your car and another chick driving it” Even my other buddy has seen this car and thought it was me. This is when my car was flat black…i saw the car at one of the meets drive by and knoticed it was a probe that got my gf all worked up… :evil:

I see those kids, and its kinda funny, cause i think i was a student teacher for their auto class. Cause they looked kinda familiar.
A lot of people come up to me in the parking lot and they are like “damn bro, that’s a sick car, you drift man?” “yo sick rims man, just like tokyo drift”
Down here in Ktown there is a small knit group of us… 7 to be exact that have modified 240’s… All of us as some point or another have stupid coments and questions come our way… None are really standing out tho…
One time i was drivin the old mans 350 and some people asked me if the car was in Tokyo drift… I got a good laugh from that…
I’ve had a few coments like that. Been asked if it was a skyline a few times.
The most recent was when I was driving on Kennedy rd. north.
I stop at a red light and an IS300 pulls beside me. I notice there are a bunch of brown gusy staring at me, so I glance over. The passenger goes:
“Is that for sale?”
“yeah”
how much?"
“ummm 15000”
“damn. Does it have a turbo?”
“it has 3”
“sjit”
“is it an SR24”
“what?”
“the motor…is it from japan”
“yeah”
“Is it single or dual overhead cam?”
“Single, but sometimes dual at high RPM”
nothing, I drive off and backfire beside them a little bit, they go crazy.
Next light.
“You wanna race for Pinks?”
“I only race for purples sorry” Then speed off.
The IS300 was driven by a brown chick and there were 3 guys with her.

Nice, the RWD ones were really cool. The Celica became a more dissapointing car with every generation they made it. In the early FWD, the only good one was the AWD-Turbo, but they were so rare, and then the newest ones were just regular overpriced slow FWD girl cars. Gotta love how Toyota conquered the market by making all their cars really lame and boring.
