Actually compared to what was done to the other cars the hotchkis car was pretty mild. Supercharger, low-comp pistons+beefed up bottom end, bolt on brakes/suspension and big hoosiers. Gut and cage the interior and off you go. Adam H probably has more money into his 'lil red monster. The Signal car is the full boogie 8.x sec 1/4 mile, best of everything, Signal car. Their paint job cost more than Hotchkis’s chassis.

Comparing stock to stock is silly. Most of the cars we like are, in their stock form, crap.

Cases in point:

Stock 240sx-Soft wallowing suspension, huge wheel gap, sunken rims, gutless truck engine.

Stock Z32TT-Worthless brakes, car needs to call Jenny Craig to drop some pounds, soft supension, useless HICAS.

Stock FD-Complicated TT setup makes rotary engine go pop. Pop=crap

Stock v. stock the faster car will always win…thankfully that little thing called the aftermarket lets us build 240’s that dont suck and Celica’s that can chase Ferrari’s

Actually on our way up to Iqua’s house there was about 4 of us in a small gas station, and some guy asked one of us if we drifted… of course we did, but we played it off…

Some asian guy…

Now police just ask me if I have a criminal record when I get pulled over in the truck… instead of “Do you race?”
