So heres my Rant…Alright i wanna know if anyone has had this similar problem, about there car/bike, related about stupid questions, Every since the day i got my 240, in CT,(down to the rest stop on Mass pyke 4 hours after i bought it) i have gotten Questions like
Is that a Dodge Daytona?
Is that a Ford Probe?
Does it have Turbo?
Does it have a SR20DET Swap? <----atleast 1 per week :headbang

when i had my 383 camaro, i was doing a head swap, i only had one head off (drivers side) and my buddy from salisbury chevy came over and told me that my engine is sitting sideways, he a stupid people :crackup
I had a colonie cop pulled me over today, pulling out of hoffmans… he pulled me over in an “attempt” to tell me that my exhaust was loud, well 30minutes /2 tickets later, im sitting there arguing with him.
Ticket 1. Unlawful modifacation to a motorvehicle
Ticket 2. Excessive DB’s from exhaust.
First of all ticket 1 we aruged about for 20 minutes alone, saying my V6 was too loud,… FIRST of all theres only 4 spark plugs, unless i got 2 extra cylindars, coming out my ass, i must be wrong. Ticket 2 i didnt care anymore, i have gotten 3 exhaust tickets, all got dropped and i got this on droped, after i followed him back to colonie HQ, were i talked to the judge on the spot, and got both droped TODAY. I sick of colonie and there BS games, so if your a cop from colonie, this is for you asshole

lol i just got an exhaust ticket a few weeks ago. don’t wanna go to the police station to get it dropped though since there is no catalyst, and its 108db, over the limit.
cops are starting to cramp my style. all it is anymore is a gay little game they like to play to generate some revenue. :wtf
Do me a favor and try to at least use 2nd grade level english when you type a response. Secondly, don’t be a bitch about getting a ticket. My guess is you have an illegal exhaust and it is probably loud, if it is in fact aftermarket. If you got the ticket and you had it dropped, then don’t complain, be happy. The cop was doing his job. I’m so sick of people thinking their fucking god and that nothing they do is wrong.
ill start with why i agree with sean… I don’t believe that a Colonie cop is going to escort you or follow you to the police station to talk to the judge, when the judge isn’t always there, just because you didn’t cooperate because your exhaust is, infact extremely loud.
And why i agree with 97VR4… IF you got the tickets dropped you should be happy, not saying the cops are dicks… colonie cops aren’t all that bad, well imo only because of my con-nec-tions ;D
#1. I followed him to the station, it just happened to be the end of the shift
#2. all 3 exhaust tickets i have ever gotten were by the same cop.
The only time i get pulled over is in colonie, i drive like a grandma, and most of the time i have my silencer in, i take it out once in a while on long trips to let the car breath. btw, i wasnt going there for the judge inparticualiar, there was a line, and i spotted the judge walking in, and just asked him, instead of waiting. and also the “unlawful mod to a car” was for my V6 i suppodily had in my car that the officer fought about with me.
i would just be lucky I got out of it. I’m in the process of getting documentation from my doctor to allow me to legally get my windows tinted in limo (light sensitivity from medication/working nights for 4+ years)
I know in cali they are CRAZY with that crap. you had better have all of your documentation IN THE CAR if you have any mods, swaps, etc and if they dont have vins on them, its getting towed
