Same here…but I also run ~20 miles a week, play soccer, volleyball, and hockey throughout the winter so I never really gain any weight thanks to regular cardio.
Now, if I cut back on beer I’m sure I’d drop a few pounds…but I hover in the 175-180 range at 5’10" and really don’t have a lot of fat that I could lose so I’m good with where I’m at:)
Karter, nice job on the possitve attitude and results you’ve found so far:tup:
Since I started dating my current girlfriend, I have probably put on close to 15 lbs. I’m convinced it’s her way of getting me off the market.
Once I moved out on my own, I was sure I would be eating very little. However, as soon as that happened, I had an extra mouth to feed. Funny how that works huh?
I am going to try and keep my weight the same, just lean up a little more – 6’3", 195lb, working on training for the half-marathon. Also lift 2-3 days a week.
i weigh a whopping 150, im not fat but im not skinny
lately i have been playing basketball for a couple hours a day 3 or 4 times a week, i figure that will help get rid of the gut and double chin eventually, lol, although all this holiday food is killing it
I was up to 245, was disgusted with myself, got down to the 205-210 range, started a heavy lifting routine, bounced up to 221 and since two weeks ago have come down to 208. Short term goal = 200. Long term = 185ish. I’m 5’11", pretty good build, weak spot = belly (from beer, which I am eliminating from my diet lol)
Had a looooooooooong write up about my plans and such, but instead I cut it down to three paragraphs:
In about 2 months time I’ve gone from hovering in the 220-230 range to 210-220 range. So basically a 10lb loss. Thanksgiving was in there so I’m proud of that.
I’d like to get under 200…I honestly can’t remember when that point was, I was 220 in 8th grade. If I can stay about this weight, but gain muscle and loose that fat, I’ll be a happy camper. The number doesn’t matter as much as the performance and appearance.
Basically, I want to have a 6 pack stashed behind the keg, it can hide there while I wind down the party that has been my exploration of the worlds tastes. Through exercise (uh so far MIA really) and continued healthy habits (check for the most part), I will be where I want to be.
I finally got the last piece of the home gym last night… Picked up a set of the Powerblock dumbbells off cragslist for 100 bucks… These things are great, 2 dumbbells that start at 15 and can be added all the way up to 90 per hand. I may spend the extra money and get the add on to 130 per hand.
In the prime of landscaping season I go about 180…now that I’ve been sitting around doing jack shit for 6 weeks…I’m at 186 :P. I just walk a lot. I’m very active all summer and slow down durring winter, but by the same token, since I am not as active, I don’t eat half as much seeing as I dont require the energy so im just never hungery. As soon as we get some decent snow I am going to start cross country skiing again. Can’t wait!! You wouldn’t believe the workout you get from it.
