Ugghh… 2 cars to store for me this year.
currently getting the winter car all inspected/ready, prolly have the summer ride on the road for another few weeks.
suckers
i have to drive my car … i dont want to …
GTO stays on all year
it’s almost as much fun in the summer as it is in the winter
eh i drive mine all year, but then again, why wouldnt i?
I don’t put the snows on the GTO until I see snow in the forecast, and even then it has to be enough that I know it will stick to the roads. I bet I’ll still be running the summers into late Nov/early Dec. My snows are mounted/balanced on spare rims though, so that makes it much easier to wait until the last minute.
I have the same set up. Winter rims and tires > *
I just don’t want to get hit with a “Surprise, we suck at forcasting” snow storm and I die as my ABS doesn’t let my car brake. I’m thinking next week would be a good time to switch to winter tires…
i put mine away. 240’s dont not like salt at all,
plus im to lazy to raise my ride height
Yeah, if a freak storm comes out of nowhere I’ll just carpool with the wife.
The GTO looks like it will be starting a new life in Charleston WV:meh:, and all the other stuff will be parked in a combination of my garage and my parents garage.
 I think it hit 80 today… new car gets driven all year and has all seasons on it.
I’m getting as much driving as I could in since 200 miles in a summer isn’t a lot.
Plus it’s not snowing, the weather is still decent, and there is no salt on the road.
Mine’s heading out on Sunday
I was going to ask that question because the kid with the 240sx said his car doesn’t like salt, yet it’s beginning of October, sure it’s cold but I can’t see snow/salt yet and I was just up there this weekend.
hopefully no salt for a while but if we have a cold enough night they will screw us all by dumping it everywhere.
mines away on account of accident / repair time.
taking the insurance off this week.
sorry to hear Bing, that sucks big time
Just finished waxing and wrapping it up… It needs a clutch adjustment, but I am just going to repair in the spring, was a great season!
It’s still nice out. Oooh it’s a bit chilly. Big deal.
Plus I never did understand the guys that take off their AWD cars in the winter. Winter would be the main reason for purchasing a WRX, etc.
I’d like to get a beater car… But it looks like the snows will be goin on mine.
