Yeaa that sounds reasonable…though there is no cheap audi
Word!
also, if we went for a cruise up into sacandoga lake, up in northville took a right and went along to lake across the dam then took the back roads into lake george village…thats a pretty sick drive. The roads are fun as hell but can get dangerous real quick.
Sounds like a sick drive for sure, I was just considering highway so people could pass, cough (roll race) cough, etc.
Then it won’t be a shift518 sponsored event rabble rabble rabble dick in the butt:vlad
Which is stupid, I don’t race anymore really but people are going to do whatever they want anyway.
i’ll race a guy jogging on the side of the road I dont care
their will be roads for those events.
I motion that there be a highschool that is in session somewhere on this cruise. maybe it could be a stop… maybe during girls varsity cheerleading practice or tryouts
It’s up to majority vote, only fair that way, but it sounds like a fun drive for sure. What is the time estimate from Alb-LG taking that route?
well from my house (exit 11) your looking at almost a 2 hour drive this way to the LG village…then we can hit the highways home or whatever.
wtf? Takes me ~45 minutes from Exit 6 off 87(Latham) to get to LG Village.
Read up a few posts, he was suggesting an alternate route.
joey delete his post or what?
BTW, if anyone has ever been to the sacandoga dam, its a AWESOME place to take pics with the dam behind you, a huge straight away, the river to the one side and the lake to the other.
i used to race northshore-southshore on friday nights/saturday mornings, used to live right in northville. its an AWESOME spot. just dont wanna blow out such a little known haven.
heres the dam area im talking about to give you a general idea…
My car is perfect for the highway… it does 120mph in 3rd gear and gets over 30mpg when driving gently. lol
its a nice area. low traffic. too bad the over look cant hold alot of cars. but there is plenty of parking down after the dam. i miss taking 2AM runs up northshore and down southshore. lots of AWESOME turns. southshore has 3 nice S-turns and plenty and nice smooth pavement. man i miss living in northville sometimes. 36.2 mile circle of pure fun.
yah…I know what you mean
that straight away on the dam is killer!
there is couple decent ones on northshore, and one good one on southshore but it has little hills. i usually start at fullers (4corners) go down northshore which starts out with that KILLER S! fly all the way down to the over look, smoke some cigs, and run across the dam, take that right into that little road where all the camps are, intersect with southshore (take a right) and that way i can hit all 3 switchbacks on southshore, then go back across the bachlorville bridge and end at fullers again. 36.2miles
