nononono, those are definitely SEXYYYYY. But you can have the hardtop on your s2000 from the factory as an option. Those are just completely aftermarket, an expensive addition.
you sure about that? ive never seen a hardtop S2000.[/quote]
Saw one at the track 2 weekends ago. They come in Hardtop.
Andrew.
well its still a convertable, its just a top you put on instead of the cloth one. it still has all the heavy mechanics and chassis stifening stuff. regardless i’d buy on if i had the money. sexy cars indeed.
I’ve never seen the S2K fastback till now, and I now know that I must have one. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
the oem hardtop for the s2000 is an option which is readily purchased at any honda dealer, it runs for around 2700+ brand new and weighs around 45 pounds
the picture that bryan posted is the spoon mooncraft hardtop, it costs around 7000 alone and the car also requires a 4 point or 6 point roll cage for the top to be put on
oem hardtop:
and s2000’s aren’t clean?! lollerlolipops
stop making me want an s2000!
Word. Those things are friggin baller… Anyone want to buy my S13?
I have 2 fastbacks available for under $1000, both have clean frames, both are good for project cars. You’ll have to build them back up from scratch pretty much, they’re just rolling chassis’ with body panels.
So if you’re looking to pick up a clean S13 FB for a project car, talk to me.
lol
ewwww s2k … they look like they copied the body of the rx-8… and put a h on it… -___-
dam im loving the rims on the s2ks in the pics… too bad their all offset 40s with same boltpattern as me pisses me off
Holy back to the future batman! Honda went forward in time, saw the RX-8 then copied it!
yeah…
the mazda rx8 came out in 2003
s2000 came out in 1999
do ppl not think or google before they speak wtf?!
the problem is people don’t think before they post
i payed 2g’s for mine overall good body hatch was rusted and engine with over 300k on it…best condition i could find at the time and the price was reasonable considering what i had looked at.
lol thanks that made my tiring work day and watching france vs portugal…
chill i was just kidding around… thought ppl wuld catch on… but stupid comments arent easily to detect with sarcasm…when typing…
Are people out of their minds?! thats the thread topic… so YES lets go back into the future
yo i was just playin foo
my sr20dett smokes those s2000 woods
Oh yeah, S13s are the ONLY RWD cars out there …
There’s no such thing as a cheap RWD car either.
LOL
I think what he meant to say was there’s no super baller cars that will impress your friends and somehow compensate for inadequacies for cheap.
Begs the question of spending $10Gs on something to turn it into scrap in 3 hours on the track.
What’s more startling is how shlt most of these 240s that are for sale now really are. More Bondo than steel, “frame repairs”, bodywork already falling off … and people want $5gs for them.
All the ads say “rust-free” “super-clean” … yeah, cause Bondo doesn’t rust.
I’ve scrapped S13s in better condition than most I see for sale.
Either that or they’re 1/2 finished project cars that WILL NEVER RUN.
Why people think they know what they’re doing, against anyone’s better judgement is beyond me.
There’s an SR-ed S13 with top mount turbo, IC, body kit, shaved door handles and all the 9s for $3,500 in Barrie.
“needs finishing”
Buy the car if the chassis is good, sell all the crap the owner must have done wrong (otherwise he would have finished it) and you can actually make money and have a good chassis.
Or you could pay $6000 for an auto S13, or $4,000 for a super clean (so clean the hatch is oozing Bondo and only barely hatch-shaped, none of the door seams remotely line up, one frame rail has been hidden - er, repaired, and the other is still waiting for your love) but hey, it’s got 10 bumps from SON members in the for sale forum.
Must have been something we missed.
yeah the S2k sure would be super if it had an SR under the hood, and please dont talk about how great the 9k RPM blah blah … junk
Yeah…ok. Im sure you have ripped around in many S2Ks to be saying that. The S2K is a great car to drive and throw through the corners. Its not meant to be a straight line racer so everyone dogs it but once you drive one youll know why people want them. But this thread isnt about the S2K!!!
Anyways, I am still in search of a clean chassis, Ive looked at some more ‘no rust’ candidates that were falling apart and bondo’d and you guessed it…overpriced.
im so pissed now since tokyo drift came out all these people are talkin about drifint and etc. ive wanted a 240SX for along time and since i finaly get my g2 this october i want 2 buy one but sum of the prices are outagerous
