diet rite is supposed to be the best diet pop for you since it uses splenda…

stay away from sports drinks too they are loaded with sugar!

Well, I read the first couple pages of this thread and here’s the cliffs notes:

  1. Work out
  2. Eat healthier
  3. Supplements are over-rated
  4. Quik has a seriously problem and needs to see a doctor.
  5. Atkins diet

My response:

  1. I try, but I’ll work out for like 4 days, 15 minutes on the Nordic Track each day, and then stop for a week, which does NO GOOD.

  2. Not a problem.

  3. I will not take a pill to lose weight… I don’t need to lose that much.

  4. Quik… go see a doctor.

  5. I can’t Atkins diet… I said it a few pages ago, but my blood sugar gets too low and I get real shaky and light-headed. My doctor told me to eat lots of carbs (meaning potatos and bread, not kool-aid and candy).

I’m going to work-out tonight… maybe I’ll take the dog for a nice long walk too. :slight_smile:

if you want to lose weight - eat less and exercise more.

My problem is is that i’m trying to put on weight, but not a beer gut. I started lifting but it has been like 8 years since I lifted last. Now i’m so damn hungry i eat all the time, and I still can’t gain. damn metabolism

I’ve also heard that it’s very very bad for you, but then the same person who told me it was bad, started doing it and has lost like 30 pounds… :rolleyes:

i think its a much more comfortable diet since u can eat massive amounts of any meant pretty much but im not saying its as healthy as others

my dad has been on the south beach diet…i have no idea what it is but he is a skinny as fuck…

South Beach Diet is pretty much the same as Atkins.

got a memo at work from the govt thursday about atkins syle food and lo- carbed food products.
it states that there is no viable proof or formula to subtract out fiber from the carbs and get a “net” carb. its bs.food labels are already changing to wording like “lower” in carbs or face big fines.
just read the backs and choose wisely

yesterday had oatmeal for breakfast turkey sanwich on wheat for lunch, same for a snack later, and a chicken wrap at work.

drank water and 2 slim fasts

This morning I had a yogurt and half a bagel. Last night for dinner was a salad w/ tomatos, cucumbers, onions, tiny bit of bacon and marinated chicken… no dressing. For lunch today will be the same salad. And I took the dog for a long walk.

you guys are getting me hungry…i am getting food ready for my sons party on sunday…over 150 people

last night i had a pirmanti’s sandwich with tons of hot sauce… a 32 oz yuengling and then 3 or 4 rum and cokes… topped it off with a few cigarettes… :cool:

corn beef and the steak sandwich are :yum: at primantis

I know, but they were 50% Less Fat Real Bacon Bits and I only put a little bit! I skipped out on the super-fatty ranch dressing and went with no dressing instead. :slight_smile:
