my SR swap

1. buy clip and bring back from niagra
2. strip clip down writing down what goes where
3. pull ka
4. do gaskets on sr (brake manifold stud +1 week)
5. pull of bumper swap rebar rad supports clean up and drop in 180sx lowering harness
6. swap lower control arms, tie rods, wheel hubs, 180sx brakes
7. drop sr in and assemble all around it
8. pull dash out
9. drop in 180sx interior harness and adapt it to LHD and hook to rear end of the car
10. put the dash back in and start pressure testing all peices cause boost is shaky
11. replace intercooler and figrue out mafs was dirty
12. drive it

that took about 2 months, no friends, no airtools, no lift, small garage, depression and listening to 102.1 the edge

depression + SR swap = you need to rent the car to me instead of your depressed ass driving it over a cliff. how much you want per day?

Nutta, I say we join forces and make a car with an SR. We’ll take turns driving it.

Find a clean worthwhile chassis. Coupe preferably.

I had my SR20 sitting in my garage for about a year but the swap it self took almost 3 weeks only because I instantly put a new clutch in, upgraded the turbo and the FMIC took a little while because of the pipping and re bar and all that shit. And it was worked on a few hours per day. If it was just a straight swap it would of been done in like a week.

or some blatant comment about my swap. Only because he loves me.

From when I bought my car till when I put plates on it and drove it, about two years. In which I swapped an SR and a bunch of other stuff. This is my 3rd summer driving it with the SR, it saw maybe 1 km on stock motor/exhaust/suspension/diff while I owned it.
