Bad bike accident on the 400N near Transit.

ugh sorry Joe

I will say a prayer for those involved in this tragic accident. I live right by the 400 exit on Seneca st and I could hear all the sirens, so much that it woke me up. Sucks guys, be safe.

Also the bike they showed was a Yamaha R6.

Ugh, to early for this. RIP

Yea, +1 WIVB showed an 01-02 r6. red/black/white.

:frowning: glad I dont know anybody with either of those bikes or names.

Sorry Joe and friends. These “type” of accidents shouldnt happen. RIP

just seen it there too willy

Wish the driver died instead. A reporter said he JUST met the girl and was racing side by side with another bike when he rear ended a truck. This is why hardly anyone cares when bikers die because 99% drive like retards and people expect us feel bad every time it happens. The only people I feel sorry for in these type of accidents are ones who aren’t squids.

Stuff like this sucks. I hope for the guys sake who was not being a showoof and its just an accident, RIP. Life is way to short

This is where you feel bad for the girl that had nothing to do with it

Police: the two women passengers on the bikes were friends. The men operating the bikes were friends. The men apparently just met the girls.

I just spoke with a West Seneca police lieutenant on camera. The two motorcycles were apparently speeding side by side when one lost control

Sad. RIP. What a waste.

I almost hate reading about them. As much as I love knowing details and thinking of how it could have been avoided, and speculate about this or that.

The more I think about the innocent passenger, and how many times I did foolish things, and how maybe the truck was broken down or didnt have taillights working or the bike wasnt current on tires/brakes/rider error/the riders didnt have appropriate gear, or xyz reason… I think I’d rather not know the details and as stated above… by thinking that “it was just an accident, and they happen” it numbs it a bit.

If the above is true and they just met, that makes it 10x worse to me.

Sorry to hear Joe.

Ugh sounds like just a bad situation in general. Very bad situation.

We met up with the other girl at the hospital. They’re roommates. Turns out she was on the Honda and Chelsea (one that was killed) was on the R6. She had went out riding with this guy a couple times this week cause she just got her bike permit and he was gonna teach her to ride…this time he brought his buddy to take her friend. They were fucking around in the right lane and a truck merged over ahead of them. They were coming up on him super fast so they went to slow down. The one bike did so fine, the one she was on locked up the rear. The driver went flying over the guardrail, she went flying into it. Fucking sucks.

Was this the group at mighty early in the night. They all seemed like decent people. I was talking with them for a while untill the left about 930sh

This is pretty much what I pictured. I should make a thread of important things to remember whilst riding.

Bikes dont stop well with an additional 140 lbs on the back, also during the day ride with your highbeams on, and if you have halogens or shitty old lights, ride with them on at night too.

Add “Don’t race in the slow lane” to that as well.

RIP to the lady friend, and sorry Joe.

To everyone on here who has a bike, take a minute and think about the actions before you do them. You hit someone for speeding/racing/acting like an idiot… No fucks given from me about you. I care more about the situations now that the people in the car/truck have to deal with seeing as they were part of the death and now will have it sitting on there skin even if they werent the reason for it.

Along with that is friends and family you are deciding to leave behind because of stupid choices. If not that people that are riding with you are not in danger because of you.

If you want to be an idiot and do stupid shit on a bike, go on a track to race… go in a parking lot to stunt/wheelie… but stop being a fucking idiot on the road around others.

This is going to be a long year of hearing about this shit… and now a life is lost because of someone elses stupid mistakes.

Sorry to hear Joe :frowning:

Or just don’t race on the street?

Sorry to hear Joe. Our condolences. RIP
