I have a battery drain. With the vehicle off and the positive terminal off I have a draw of .500 on the meter inbetweent he battery terminal and the battery cable, when it should be at around 005. To start both accessory relay are on all the time. The one under the air box and the other one behind the fuse panel in the drivers footwell. The two fuses that can be pulled and the draw goes are the Radio fuse and the Interior Lights. I have gone through the car and unplugged each of the items that are connected to the two fuses and I still have the draw. I am just looking to see if anyone has had a similiar problem to this and if so could they please give me some insight on how they fixed it.
open the driver side Foot well, theres a small box its your TCU(its white about 3X3 with a 10MM bold through the center), unplug it and check if the draw is still there
I had a mystery power draw with my car, mine was the door light switch wasn’t triggering right, leaving the interior lights on with the door closed. My windows are tinted so dark I can’t tell from the outside if the lights were on, but I finally figured it out. Might be worth a shot.
I honestly have not checked that yet thank you for the idea now I have to wait for my shop to be open to go and test that out. We just had to close on “Family Day” Thanks again for the advice.
Thanks for all of the help but I found the electrical draw this morning. The previous owner did some of his own radio wiring and coneected to wires and tucked them way in the back of the stereo spot under the carpet. No sure what the two wires are for yet but once disconnected everything worked fine and the draw was gone. Thanks again for the ideas and help
