so i got an issue with my car battery draining all the time. i’d park it for a day or so and it would need a boost. i have an aftermarket audio system with subs etc the works and a compustar alarm… along with the traditional gauges etc… kat set up with safc2.
i suspect that it’s the alarm that could be draining the battery power… any suggestions? it wasnt doing this before though.
try a new battery man
i’m with shawn on this one. try a new battery first and than go to all the stuff you have in there.
I would also suggest that you put the sound system on it’s own battery.
im suspecting a bad alternator just cuz its one of the few parts that i havent replaced on my car yet and ive had this set up as long as i could remember and i never had this draining issue until recently.
how would i know for sure if its a bad alt. anyone got one for sale?
