i went in to a store to mess around with one, mine is in the mail still… i am not 100% sold on the browser yet, it was really hard to click links lol. might just be because i was a noob. the form factor and the keyboard were really nice though :tup:

I am curious to see how the touchscreen integration really works with the existing OS. IMO they should have waited till they had a new OS that was designed around a touchscreen.

100% true… there was a whole family in front of me getting them, two kids and two parents, none of them cared about having email (and yes they were complaining about having to get a data plan). they bought them anyways… mind boggling.

When i went to go play around with one at the verizon store there were these 2 dumb bitches in front of me complaining about the data plan. The deciding factor for this asshat was the fact that the new chocolate isnt skinny anymore…
I also asked the guy how many people do you have to explain the data plan to… He said something about morons under his breath.
Went to check it out yesterday. Phone froze while playing with it and couldn’t be turned off or anything. lol
I guess the phones are shipping with OS version 4.7.0.65 on them. It was meant to have 4.7.0.87 which fixed the issues people are seeing but there was a last minute problem with the build. Expect an OS update in the near future.
Ended up picking this up Friday…I’m happy with it. Noticed a few bugs here and there but it’s probably software which should be fixed soon.
i had all intentions of going to pick one up friday, but i was also disapointed. i hate how the screen floats on what seems to be springs, (thats how it “clicks”) and its slow compared to my curve. so im gnna keep the curve.
Well lucky me they placed my order for my data plan the other night but never ordered the actual phone like they said they would. Thanks stupid verizon rep with a no doubt sub GED education level!
We ordered ours Friday morning and got them overnighted. Still have yet to see them. We’re currently on the phone with Verizon working our way up the chain.
