Benching 225 for reps.........

holy fuck. i dont care if those were “partial” reps or not… when you go down all the way and go up and dont lockout the muscle is always under tension which makes it that much more impressive to me.

dont believe me :gotme: , try it.

i would be a lot more impressed if he wasnt bouncing the bar off his chest, it is a lot of weight to do that but a lot of bounce of his chest for sure.

The bounce ruined it. I rather would have seen the 3 reps of 505.

Yeah, he did do some bullshit reps for sure, but look at the fucking speed he can push that weight up with. Just crazy speed on those.

gay… i hate when people do shit workouts like that… my personal favorites are the barbell curls when they practically throw their backs out to lift it

Lineman at the NFL combine can only do about 30-40 reps max… but im sure they do full reps.

bounces killed it…

IHISM

Most of them still bounce, but not to this extent.

They don’t do anything even close to full reps at those NFL combines.

Yeah he bounced ALOT and didnt do full reps…still impressive…but not as much as it COULD be.

my record was 34 in college
full reps and a raw lift (no bench shirt)

The max at the combine is usually around 45 to 50.
Most lineman are between 25 - 40.

lol @ the haters cuz it bounced, when I bet 90% of the posters in this thread couldn’t do 225 for 3 reps.

Impressive none the less.

hate on bounce nothing:

that’s your fucking sternum.

it doesn’t LIKE having weight like that bounced off of it. rookie shit right there

wanna bet?

i bet 99% of this forum couldn’t do 135 for 72reps.

agreed the acid builds up, I think I got 60 once
Power lifting and lifting for reps is two very different things
I trained totally different when planning to compete in either one

agreed.

I cant believe people are giving this guy shit for “bouncing” and “not full reps” its like :gtfo:

the guy is a monster, and that was very impressive.

edit: wait, what? 60 with what weight? 135 you mean right?

this is WAY more impressive than watching a guy bench 400 lbs 5 reps.

His chest must have been BURNING!

edit: I can’t even squat 225 more than 10 reps :frowning:
