Best way to ship to Europe???

i have some guys in France that want a bunch of stuff… problem is they want a few front lips and with the size of the box FEDEX wants $4300 to send it…

that is 3 day express though.

anyone know of a way that is like… iono… less than one eigth of that?

4300 wow… thats’ freaking expensive

I just got something from poland… uh it cost like less than 200 canadian to ship… and it was two boxes (yesss two boxes) … and they were fender size boxes… (too hold… uh… fenders :stuck_out_tongue: )

it went from poland and to canada post… it was 5-6 day shipping… 10 (b/c of easter weekened)

but yeah… I wasn’t even taxed or customed $$$… soo… did you try canada post?! lol

the package is about 75 x 35 x 35 in inches. and its about 20 lbs…

I just got an online estimate from purolator, and to ship from scarborough to
France its just over $220. They didnt ask for the package dimensions though, just the weight… :?

3 day express is relatively expensive.

Try some freight forwarders and that would be the cheapest way. (Will take longer obviously, but I am sure it is the cheapest way due to the bulky size of body parts)

Say you ship a whole skid worth of stuff, you would be saving to ship LCL (less than a container load)

But if you are going to ship just a few boxes, then couriers will work out to be about the same price and faster delivery.

If you think you want to try to ship LCL, then pm me. I can give you a freight forwarder contact we work with and he could give you a quote.

Good luck.

last time I had to ship something that big, I went directly to Lufthansa cargo (at the airport) and shipped it to Frankfurt. Only drawback with this is that someone needs to go to the airport it lands at and pick the package up.
However, it was cheap. I think I paid 75 bucks for something that the size of 2 computer cases. I think they only cared about weight.

Bing my mom ships packages to poland all the time to her siters and she uses a traveling agaency. Its kinda funny but if you look through the phonebook for travel agencies they might have international shipping as one of their specialties. Give it a try, or just use the old greg express and go underwater.
