Blah blah blah it’s his job, he needs an accident report to report it to the insurance company.
Well down here you don’t even need insurance for a bike so the police report would… end up in the kid getting a ticket… and that’s it.
Oh my, how dare a cop let someone off of a ticket when they just wrecked. The guy got lucky the cop felt like being “nice” in a sense and didn’t take his ass to jail.
I was thinking about 3rd party negligence. Fuck, for all we know a plum could’ve dropped off of a negligently constructed parade float and land in his path causing the rider to lose control and eat dirt. I just thought it was SOP for any officer to write a report upon witnessing an accident.
Hell, maybe even products liability. The rider could’ve hit his turn signal triggering a short in some negligent wiring causing the bike to spontaneously begin accelerating and talking like George Takei, thus leading to the riders confusion and distraction then causing the crash. Moral: stop and file a damn report.
The guy couldn’t control the bike because he was speeding around a curve trying to get away simply because he saw the cop while he was speeding. There was no 3rd party negligence.
The guy was the actual and proximate cause of his own accident.
We don’t know the validity of this because there is no police report. If your buddy wanted to be on a power trip and teach him a lesson, he should have gone up to him after, wrote him a ticket for speeding, reckless driving, and all the other laws he violated however based on your story, I assume your buddy isn’t too intelligent either.
He wasn’t trying to be on a power trip that’s the whole point. He cut the guy a break.
Ah yes because I forget an eyewitness view of the accident without a police report means it never happened right? So yup no validity you’re totally correct.
Yes he would. Lets get back on topic here though. 2 lives were lost and Jose was a great person to be around. Take the bs and start another thread if you would like.

Check out this slideshow I made of Jose. Makes me laugh and cry every time I watch it. RIP Buddy.
I just really hope they behave at Mighty. We’ve spent a lot of time grooming people that hang out there so we don’t lose it like everywhere else. I would hate for that to be ruined in one night.
This ride is at the speed limit, no wheelies, no bull shit. Some of the people who are putting it on I feel will personally throw you off your bike if you behave like an ass hat.
There is a different aura around sport bikers now. I noticed last night there was a strange looks from drivers and stuff on the road when we would pass them and a lot more cops out.
Kid was known to ride with the same crew often. Laid his bike down the next night. Broken ribs among other things. He lived I saw his after pictures from when he was in the hospital. I didn’t get many more details. I know his sister more than I know him and I don’t even know her that well.

Awesome article… :picard: It only takes a few people to ruin it for everyone else. It’s looking like a summer turning out to be a good one is going to end all to quickly because people can’t control themselves.
Sean P. DeBiew is also a douchebag who needs to keep his mouth shut. Just because a reporter is standing in front of you doesn’t mean you need to sell everyone out.
