I found a complete 02a conversion with pedal cluster slave shifter box tranny fly wheel ext ext for 400 in ct, so after I sell my ronals this weekend i’m gonna go pick that up.

he likes the feel of the hydro setup, better than the conversion. i let him drive my car, and while he said it was good, he thinks its more cost effective to do the hydro, and likes it better. its certainly easier to just do the the cable conversion imo, but if thats what he wants… its his car afterall.
im talking about the gti. VW hydro setup’s lack the pedal feel, and the engagement points are terrible.
it costs more to buy the cable conversion parts than it does to convert the hydro. I had the hydro in my VR and loved it, so thats what im going with. Plus the cable sticks out like a sore thumb in a cleaned up engine bay.
oh… well the gli had an o2a with the conversion as well.
Todays update:After 3 months of no radio finally fixed that and I painted the grille. I also fixed the crooked headlights.

todays update: did some more work to the car this morning
relocated the 02 sensor wiring harness and ran the pass side headlight harness through the frame rail.

I mounted my painted rallye grille, notice how nice the headlights align now.
I couldnt hold up any longer I had to throw one of the panapsorts on, I didnt have any spacers on so the wheel was hitting the coilover. I also need to lower the front down a bit too it looks
