blown turbo thoeries

:ohnoes:

not another one…

Oh c’mon. I’m sure he isn’t modding the fawk out of a daily driver car he had to finance to get in the first place. Right?

:mamoru:

this is one of the reasons why i liked the idea of just slapping a supercharger on my car and calling it a day. Turbos require a lot of tuning and attention and that sucks 10-fold when it’s a higher-end, luxury car.

my car was a alot of work but it has been running flawlessly… loud and fast.

everyone keeps saying oh bad luck :blah: . mike told him there is a problem after the tune. nick told him there was a problem before he raced me. I told him i wouldent hold a grudge if he didn’t want to race his car untill he found out what was wrong (obviously something was up), now granted nick didn’t help the situation with his :poke: comments but you still insisted on racing it and not just once. after you beat me you got a small taste of blood and you kept racing all night. i hope turbonetics doesn’t look at the turbo and realize what happened because i’m sure they will know.

if theres a warrenty like he says, no questions, y not race till its blows up? but fix it up asap

stock for life…Dos sorry about ur luck…just make sure u do thingsright and take ur time

bcasue it would ahve been a hell of a lot cheapier to reseat the housing a retorque it then to send it for a rebuild. free or not.

Oh boy… Lets recap for those keeping score at home…

  1. Financed a luxury car
  2. Boosted the daily driver
  3. Drove for a week untuned
  4. Raced despite known issues

I don’t know what to say. :gotme:

i told you so seems appropriate

.

Q: What is Turbonetics warranty policy?
A: Turbonetics offers a 1 year No-Fault/No-Hassle warranty on all of our products from the time of purchase. This includes all turbochargers, intercoolers, turbo systems, you name it. Even if you break your Turbonetics product racing, sens it in through the distributor that you purchased it from and we will fix it no questions asked. You won’t find another warranty in the forced induction industry like it. We feel that our product is manufactureed to the highest standards possible and our warranty backs it up.

that is sounds like a good warranty policy for the customer.

this part is funy though

Even if you break your Turbonetics product racing

i would hope so. nobody buys a turbonetics product…

this is what happened to me me and andy figured it out, thats why mike probably mentioned it cuz i remember telling him about it, i tightend the bolts and my problem was solved bt i didnt drive it when it was hitting it spun for maybe 5 mins

:wstupid:
