Looking at a white 08 g6 gxp (23k $17,4xx) black 08 g6 gxp (25k 17,9xx) Today. I think she is going to pick out of these two. Has everything she wanted Heated seats, leather, sunroof and it has a little pep to it. 250-260 horsepower I believe?
Just curious, what are the warranties like with Pontiacs now that they dont make them anymore?
I would not buy a german car at an auction…regardless if it is BMW or Audi. I like my 325i but they have issues for sure.
They run mid-high 14’s stock, pretty good. I can’t stand the spoiler they put on those. Way overpriced too, the GTP has the same drivetrain without the bullshit “ram air” feature.
It would be the same as my g8 5yr 100k powertrain, 3yr 36k bumper to bumper just depends on when the car was initially purchased.

'07 GTP had the same drivetrain as the GXP without the gay wing and appearance kit. I have a 2006 GTP 6spd which has the LZ9 3.9L pushrod motor instead. 2008+ they didn’t offer the GTP, just the GT (3.5L pushrod), GXP (3.6L DOHC) and the base model shitboxes.
Still the same car. Have fun with the brakes, they are junk. On my third set of rotors/pads @ 60k… Expect the seat back adjustment handles to break off and expect retarded sounding clunks in the front suspension within 40k miles.
I wouldn’t worry about the warranty, it’s a GM and the platform itself still alive in other forms.
I wouldn’t pay that much for a 2008 either, I bought my car fully loaded brand new in 2006 for $20,xxx INCLUDING tax/tags after all GM’s rebates.

I saw that wing(pic of black car) on a blue car parked at walmart. Meh.
Looks simple and clean (07 gtp). The gxp sedan doesnt look to bad either, I mean Im not in love with the body appearance package, But its not too extreme IMO.
2nd glance, I enjoy it a bit too. Not fan of side skirts that go up the body, but the sedan looks pretty good. My big gripe was the price difference, if you get past all the other things I listed – it’s a great car. It rolls pretty good for what it is and looks nice, plus it’s a Pontiac which I know is a plus for you LOL.
