alot of good info in here… listen to shawn, 88slowmarro and i… the issue, im sure is pegging the stock maf @ 5 volts. most N/A cars can peg a stock maf… put in the cobra maf or larger one and get a proper tune then. AND DATALOG.

yes, a maf based car will peg a stock NA maf at 5 volts under boost. you will undoubtedly need to upgrade to the larger mass airflow sensor.

With MegaSquirt you will not need a MAF at all. MS uses an on board map sensor to calculate required fuel.

i just reread the information provided on the site about MS and sure enough it says just chuck the MAF sensor because it is not requried anymore. hey tell me the pros and cons you have encountered with the MS system, please.
