Very smart approach, congrats for finding such a clean chassis in Ontario.
I believe in all weight reduction, this junk weights a lot. I think you forgot to mention small stereo amplifier in the trunk plus all that bolts, brackets, wires etc. I like the idea of removing washer fluid reservoir from the front it makes room for future intercooler piping and oil cooler or you can make short cold air intake and mount filter there.
I’ll move the battery behind the seat and swap rear spindles for aluminum ones from 300zx.
Yeah I weighed it all on a scale and added it up, this doesn’t even include the stuff Josh (my mechanic) took off of it. That Day 5 is pretty unbelieveable yes, however that thin layer of crap I removed with the dry ice is dense and heavy - my friend owns a dry ice company and if anyone is interested is having theirs removed feel free to PM me.
Yep I weighed everything that came out of it, the list I created is just all the main items, and the reason everything ends in a zero is because I rounded down. I wasn’t going to waste space listing all the nuts and bolts or all the 0.5lbs, and no the carpet wasn’t soaking wet.
Everything adds up, I’d really like to get it on the scale later, but there’s a lot left to come off
