I don’t believe in a “god” (nor was I ever made to) yet I feel I behave in a pretty moral fashion. To behave morally is to just behave. If you’re behaving out of fear of punishment (hell) or the lure of a reward (heaven) you’re not really behaving morally.
That said I don’t begrudge religion and I do think some people require the guidance of explicit rules. At the end of the day whatever gets people to understand and stop impeding on the free will of others will make me happy.
FUck that … It was 2 hours after and the disciplinarian teacher was a scary as fuck Vietnam vet. He wouldn’t hesitate to throw you around the room if you deserved it.
I’d be embarrassed if any of those kids were mine.
Any word on what action the school might take against them (if any)? Suspensions? Expulsion? Detention? Do nothing because that’s what schools do?
The school says they will face the maximum punishment allowed under their handbook once an investigation is complete.
The police have said they will not press any charges, at the request of the bus monitor.
At this point if I was her I’d be calling the little bastards laughing “who’s poor now you little shit, you just made me 1/4 million dollars”.
While I do not condone anything that those kids said, what exactly was she “Monitoring”? Looks like she just gets sympathy pay from the school district to ride around on a school bus. The next story could easily be the school district being sued because a student beat the crap out of another and the bus monitor was unable to perform the duties of their job and control the situation.
It’s a sad, sad world.

I think its more so the bus driver can focus on the driving part and the monitor is there to tell kids to sit down and stuff. I am assuming not all buses have them and this bus already is full of winners.
With all that money, it will be very interesting to see if she goes back to work and really likes her job or if she says “Fuck you kids” and enjoys her life.
People do not drive busses or aid bus drivers because they like kids.
They do it for a little extra money in retirement.
If they liked kids, there are more than enough activities they could volunteer their time toward that
might actually help society rather than act as an authoritarian figure so the bus driver does not have to pull
over every few minutes.
IMO, if there is an aid on a bus, that bus should be a shining example of zero tolerance for shitty behavior.
If you give kids an inch, they will walk all over you. They are like really smart dogs.
Not to get off topic but, whether you know it or not you are living by God’s Morals. Morals don’t exist without God.

I believe in no god whatsoever. I just treat others as I want to be treated (sort of), because I’m not a huge dick and it makes me feel good to respect others (to an extent)
My g/f takes kids down puts them in holds when they act up in her class. She works for the Folk school system so its different than public school. They have councilors walking the halls which is just another name for body guards. Its amazing how crazy a 3rd grader can be.
You’re either too close minded or too enlightened for this discussion. I’m not sure which. Depends on what “God” means to you.

I don’t fear or believe in any “god” personally. At times I may be considered spiritual but not religious. I freely acknowledge both what I DO and what I DO NOT know, I’m all about balance. I don’t want to debate evolution NOR religion because who the fuck is truly qualified to sell either stance with 100% evidence & conviction? I respect you and agree to disagree & just leave it at this. 
The bold I agree…the golden rule sounds cliche to some but it simply boils down to free will and respecting humanity for me.

I don’t like to see people hurt, physically or emotionally. While I may be rude and a bit insensitive at times, I think it’s a combination of me not realizing how much people take things that are said by people they don’t know to heart (my fault) and a them needing to harden the fuck up.
