CA vs SR vs KA vs..........

lets go! :E

Conservative vs. Liberal vs. NDP vs… Let’s go!! :E :partyman:

Lets do this in one post

CA is the best because of its iron block its super tough. Its the worst because it has limited aftermarket parts and it’s almost a million years old.

SR is the best because it is the bestest engine ever made. Worldwide aftermarket support and huge potention. It’s also a piece of shit because Nissan cheaped out when making it.

KA is the best because ‘no replacement for displacement.’ It sucks cause its meant for hauling around mexicans in the back of pickup trucks and its redline is 1500rpm.

End of discussion.

LOL

^^^Oh and dont forget… KA has enough torque to haul your mother around. :E wink

ps. ^^ for Marvin^^ :E

ROFL!!

I’ll put my vote in for the VG then. :drinkers:

sr baby 8)

good stuff dave …

Sr all the way for me but the RB25 and 26 beats them all.

they would do it for me but the weight thorws me off

Observations of which I have no actual facts to back up…

SR is supposedly cooler than the KA so eveyone wants to get rid of their KA. Result is cheap supply of KAs.

Forced induction on a cheaper and larger displacement KA has, generally speaking, more HP than the smaller displacement SR and the CA notwitstanding rev limit.

Boosted KA ends up being cheaper than swapped SR or CA so ya get more power per dollar.

Reliability? Boosted KA or SR or CA?

Parts for KA much easier to get and for less money than SR and CA parts.

I have no effen clue if anything I just said is BS or not. I don’t have a KA, SR or CA.

But look! KA’s can haul goats when you aren’t at the race track!!!

And its predecessor the Z22, can haul camels!

The exhaust note of the KA screams “I WANT TO TOW SOMETHING!!!”

Can be a pro and a con.

302 beats them all …pony up people

"On the first dyno session with the bone stock tired motor, 8.8 psi and proper tuning, with stock cams the motor made 295 WHP !! (yes, wheel hp, not crank.) We knew this motor was making good power, but those kinds of numbers are literally unheard of on a bone stock motor with so little done to it. Good turbo size, and good tuning appear to be the key to this powerplant’s huge numbers. "

Says it all.

Don’s car was in calgary for autocross last summer. It was screaming… “Can i give your SR, RB a tow SIR!?” :E

yea but who would throw boost at a tired motor with probebly more then 200 000 k’s

ka-t.org try that site, or just read nis240s post above…

It all depend on personal preference.

There are many pro’s of each motor and anyone can explain them. It takes a real man to list the cons of theirs.

so Cons’

KA- inablility to rev
SR- Shitty valvetrain design, alloy block.
CA- old motor
RB- Not heavier but the weight is more forward OVER the front wheels.
