Cage build time

Some excellent home based work the both of you. s13counterpart you weld really clean.

wow man, awesome build, how much would one of these puppies run me if i built one?

^Enough if you don’t have most of your own equipment to do so…

That and the price of steels went up 40% last week. I don’t know where it’s at now.

EviltoM I demand an update!

Well the cage is pretty much done except for the boxing the floorplates really nice, and the dashbar which Im gonna do after the floor and cage is painted, because I might have to put it under the steering column which I dont feel like removing the whole thing, hence why I have to do it last and hit the welded portion with some paint afterwards. Ive been sick and working in the states the last week so I havent had much time to do anything else. Next week I should be finished painting everything, heres some pics I snapped today.

F-ING MARVELOUS

wanna cage my car

I dont have the patience to do it again. Too many broken things in the garage after this. Too short of a fuse. Hence the name, got it in high school :frowning:

…So how did this turn out Evil!?

I’m not talking about the finished welding. I’m talking about having everything back together. Painted (If you did that) etc…

Finished the complete cage minus a few spots ont he floor a while ago, started doing some motor and crossmember work, sorry I dont check the forum as much as I used to because its just not my cup of tea anymore. here are some pics of the cage and the good stuff.

It’s a JZ, and gorgeous build. I still love that cage.

I believe it is acutally a 1J, but I could be wrong.

Loving the welding fella… Id say a JZ for sure since RBs turbo is on the other side

Damn! looks like you’ve got quite a wild build going on… Can’t wait to see a vid of this thing in action
