With the BMW leaking Antifreeze Sunday --and not knowing if I can repair the 240SX in time ( I think i am down to a simple oil pan gasket) —I may not take my truck. In case Bruce does not have enough room --Are any of you guys willing to throw my grille and Easy up in your trucks? ( I was thinking back yard grill instead of the portable one --comments)
I can definitely fit an EZ Up, I doubt a full size grill. Tom and I are going to shuffle some stuff between are trucks tho. His actual pickup bed is more useful for tall stuff.
I would lean towards yes. He was waiting to hear about work. Cant say for sure tho.
Where is the 318 leaking from? What do you need?
Can you bring the EZ Up to work with you tomorrow or Wed? I’ll prob drive out with Jeff right after you guys so cant take it off your hands Thurs morning.
I hope he makes it --should be a fun event. 102 students, Racers, Canadian Beer.
Oh Sorry.
The 318 decided to leak Antifreeze yesterday at the AX. There was fluid on both sides of the motor, near motor mount, no visible leaks from Radiator or Waterpump or hoses. So concensus seemed to be head gasket.
The 240 continues to smoke lightly when under load ( near Turbo) – No leaks I can find, some seepage from edge of Oilpan (modified stock pan with welded on larger sump and baffles --that never really fit right) --so I am going to try and swap out the oil pan tonight.
EZ up --Yea I can bring it to work the next couple of days, can you pick up or Where can I drop it off?
Both of us were dialing in the cars every session and getting faster. Jon went from 2:26s to 2:23s by Sunday mainly through tire tweaks and very minor damper adjustments. Way cool.
Jason & Jon - thanks for the place to stay; it was great to be able to get some real rest. And I loved how the whores were so discreet, sneaking out the back through the window. Very classy touch.
PS - did the guy ever ask you for more money? If so, let me know.
