It was definitely great to finally get to see one of these events, and even better to get a couple of rides (thanks to Bruce and Tom). Now I’ve just gotta get my heap situated so that it could make it through a day of that (as opposed to a few intervals at an autocross). And thanks to Byron for carting me there and back-

It was great to meet you guys, and it was good to see some old friends! Sorry I didn’t come say goodbye, but we booked it after my last session because we had to look at a 240 on the way home in Potsdam. Didn’t get home until like 1AM!!!

Just finished uploading my pics from the weekend, not the best but they give you an idea. Tranferred the video to my computer but still need to edit it.
And no turtles,snakes…or lions,tigers,or bears…and your right, other than the nascar trucks and the DSR racer I never got passed. Oh the vette did once…then i proceeded to keep up with him for some strange reason.
The car gods looked down on us this weekend, we all came out with intact and running vehicles. Upstaters anyway…

In your video and when I went out in A group in Mike’s Mini I saw very few people hitting turn 3 correctly. That’s the most fun corner, you gots to hit it crazy early!
