if I were to bring the car out with the bumper installed then everybody and their mother would be asking me to pop my hood so they can see the setup, when infact there is nothing to look at under the hood. by running the car with no bumper I didn’t have to put up with that. If it were i huge deal to me like you poeple think it is I would spend the 30-40 bucks on a 3–>4" coupler and 2" of 4" exhaust pipe and install it. thats it. the intake pipe has been fabbed since the beginning… well 2 days after the first race (05orangeSS). Its just not a big deal to me + it keep me from driving in bad weather so it helps keep me safe. Spining from 70mph is not cool in the rain.

you must be talking about some other turbo SHO because I don’t recall getting walked by a vette (if you’re refering to ugososlow) we made 3 runs. the runs were doccumented in the kill story maybe you should go read it. he would get a jump and hold the jump, I would get the jump and hold the jump we couldent get a even start and given the out come of the 3 runs we deemed the outcome a draw. and If i rember correctly that particular vette wasn’t completely stock

i’ve always herd that they respond well to bolt on’s,+ i herd (unverified info) that he had a bit more done than that. no I havent raced any C6’s. i’ve only raced a few people this year. i’m trying not to push my luck on the streets. gingerman and UBRF track day made it seem less important.
