so we went up to mighty tonight and hung out for a while, alex took a few guys for a ride in the SHO so they could see what it can do, and they seamed pretty happy with how it runs
we heard a little bit of SHO related drama, but haters will always hate …
first we cruised out with another pack of cars just for some fun and to watch them run, i think one of the guys was Jeeves, and a black 80’s camaro, and a white 80’s style mustang convert
didnt see much of the 'maro on 'maro action, but we lined up with the stang from a slow roll, and since he didnt know that alex was brake tq’ing the car, he launched thinking we had gunned it. we won back some of his lead, but ran out of space b4 we could realy find out who was faster up top
more or less the same result on the 2nd run … wouldnt mind seeing a rematch when the SHO has an exhaust, a tune and an air horn
and a little later Ugososlow (sorry that i cant remember your first name) aproached Alex for a lil chit chat, and they decided to go for some runs
Alex made sure he knew about the brake boosting, and we made our way out to the spot
all 3 runs we did turned out pretty even, it was just a matter of whoever got the jump held their spot, and it was impossible to leave together because we had to use hand signals to signal the start of the race
headed back to mighty, chatted a bit more, and then it was time to head home
headin down the highway back to my house and a white trans am comes flying up, so alex guns it for the fun of it , and lets off early
trans am slows down to like a 40 or 45 roll and waits for us to match it, and due to the lack of horn we just dropped it down a gear and waited for him to go, and we hammered it right after
he got a good jump on us because we werent brake boosting it hard, but once we hit full boost we reeled him in FAST … but 110 came up just as we nosed past him, and due to our lack of a front bumper + a carbon fiber hood, alex backed off. were not sure how fast we would have to go to get it to fly up, but we dont want to find out …
dude proceeded on down the road at 90mph, and i thought maybe he wasnt to happy, but he later slowed down, possibly looking for another romp, but unless he had N2O, i donno if it would have been any different
alex just gave him the :tup: and we rolled down the road @ the speed limit to our exit
