noticed over the weekend when the car sat for 2 days without being driver or started up, I checked the oil level and it was back to full and a few days before that when I got home from work and let the car sit for 10 minutes and checked it, it was about half a quart low…
so im wondering if maybe I should fill the motor up with half a quart over the full limit?? it seems like it takes a long time for all the oil to settle down to the oil pan with the high pressure oil pump?? WOT it see’s 80psi. Idle is 50.
I also put in a new PCV friday afternoon and where the PCV plugged unto the TB hose, under it was coated with oil.
not abnormal at all ,dont overfill it as it will sling all over airate and cause problems
Yeah, you dont want your crank IN the oil! You’ll lose power, among other things.
