Any time a person or group of people try to justify some moronic belief, pull up the snopes page for it. I tend not to get FW:FW:FW:FW: e-mails from people, because I immediately REPLY ALL with the Snopes link and tell people not to be idiots.
That is a super old rumor/myth. Insurance companies do not asses risk based on the color of your car. Bright colors may attract bees and cops, but does not increase your insurance rates.
bright colors are also more visible so they should lower accident making it a wash…
While in class I called geico and had the rep state there is color doesnt matter on speaker phone. And they still didnt beleive me.
Idiots
in english please… I can’t tell if you’re contradicting your first post or what is going on???
So many factors are played into a insurance quote.
Drivers race or car color are not anywhere on the insurance policy. Its a BS question and just a myth that red cars are pulled over more.
sorry, I edited the first post. Geico said there is no connection.
I love being right.
I was half tempted to call after class or go out into the hall way incase I was wrong, but I knew that made no sense. I like disrupting class, especially when I am right.
Win
Honestly, being a 2 door versus a 4 door car affects insurance rate. Color does not.
