If price is your only concern, then the best bet is to just get quotes from every place you can think of. They all have different ways of pricing based on vehicle, age, location, tickets, etc.

If customer service is a concern then you can compare based on what people say. Otherwise it’s just, “so-and-so is the best, I’m only paying xxx”. “No way, they suck, I paid xxx through them.”

That seems awfully high considering both cars are (assumed) paid for and it’s only liability…we pay $300/mo for the audi and the Z…both are finanaced and fully covered…and we have progressive (and a few points on both of our licenses)…but we are over 35 :dunno:

I have Erie, when I got my M in March of 2004 I paid 192/month. I was 19 then…now I’m 21 and pay $142/month for full coverage. I’ll have to check into this $25 service charge, I’ve never seen anything about that and I’ve paid monthly since 2002. All in all, they are good to work with.

I pay less than 100/mo for my GTP and WS6. State Farm gives a ton of discounts, the thing is you have to have a good record. Now with the WS6 on min coverage I am paying 60/mo. I would look into them if you have a decent record. I have yet to meet someone getting a better deal than me.

I currently pay $88/month through progressive ( I’m 21 and have ins. on my other car though my parents) BUT $88 - to never having insur. in MY name=pretty decent, i think!

I just did an online quote and it said 1100 a year for me. damn. i might be switching here hmmm.

When my mom moved from West Mifflin to Aspinwall they bumped her insurance like $15 a month. They said it was because she was now in a more expensive area with more expensive cars so the likelyhood of a more expensive accident was higher.

Makes sense I guess but still sucks.

I have Geico, full coverage on an 06 Impala and Partial on my Suburban and I only pay $131/month.

my insurance is more since i live in the Rox again compared to when i lived out in Imperial. they said since its more of a high risk area

Yeah, its small, but it has around the 3rd highest per capita income in all of pennsylvania. all that money floating around means lots of nice cars which means the possibility of hitting an expensive car… I understand the logic behind it, it just sucks, lol
