Car shorting out

Can someone help me with this

I turn the key to the on position and hear the fuel pump. I turn the key to start and rather than hearing the starter I hear the fuel pump pump more at me. I was completely confused and messed around with stuff such as my tune/ostrich/chip and dizzy and starter…I think this issue was the distributor connection so I rewired it and fixed it all up.

When I completed this I plugged the battery back in to find my car power on instantly… Turbo timer was ON, fan is on, check engine light, gauges, oil light, battery light, fuel pump, everything.

I started unplugging: Dizzy no effect. main relay stopped the fuel pump/injectors. I then noticed electrical tape on an injector wire melted and pulled them. I pulled the ECU with no effect.

Anyone have any advice? Which wires should I be looking for?

It appears the power wire going to the starter was shorting out somewhere near its connection. Every sensor on the block was shorting out along with all my oil lines and such. :confused

I think I got it now.

I think I blew my ECU.

Anyone have a chipped P28 I can barrow for a day
