Eh, no problem with gutting a car, you basically have to do it anyways if you need to do any frame work, or engine work… might as well do the alarm while everything’s out.

Ye, Stiky i think its smart to do it that way aswell, as you can hide stuff, and make it look a lot cleaner.
Yeah, for example hiding piggyback ecu’s or turbo timers and such in the glove compartment, plus installing gauges in proper places instead of just on the dash. The only way to fix a car properly is to gut everything, interior and all, then weld up holes, make patches, etc, and then paint it and rebuild it eventually.
But along with that, you need the funds and know-how to do so, so it’s a trade off.
