Car will not start...

Hey car experts, this is probably soething really small but im a total noob so please bear with me

my 03 eclipse has been sitting in the garage the past 3 months or so, and even with a brand new battery, the car will not start. It clicks, and all the lights are working, but it wont crank or anything;

what do u think the problem is and how much will it cost to have it fixed?

please help me out or if ur able to come to town of tonawanda and fix the problem, please pm me a price!

you starter solenoid isn’t working properly or there is some sort of security issue.

5 speed? if so try push starting it… if it starts then 99% sure you need a new starter… then if you need help with that i can give you a hand for some gas money if its easy to get to (if you have the 4cylinder it will be $136 + $60 core charge… so when u bring back the old starter it will be 136+tax.

its automatic.

have somebody tap the solenoid while you hold the key cranked. Be careful not to arc it…

sucks but u might have to just do the starter and go from there.
