hey guys, i have a big problem, car won’t start!!! it was sitting in my driveway during the winter, and during that time, i would go and start it from time to time. Fired up and had no problems. Now, when i try to start it, it cranks, but never completely fires up. Before i had it sit in my driveway for the winter, i had about half a tank of gas. I was wondering if it was due to moisture in the gas tank? There seems to be spark, and fuel pump is working. Please, any suggestions and help is greatly needed, thanks!!
volt meter on battery
check battery connections, corrosion, poor contact…
Fuel pump/ filter? my pump jsut went on me on monday and it was doing this …its in the trunk that could be it
When my coolant temperature sensor failed, it caused a “crank-forever-but-no-start” situation.
If it’s not evening “sort of” starting, then perhaps see if the ECU has a code.
But def. check the aforementioned possible battery concerns, and perhaps check the entire charging system to make sure the alternator is doing it’s job.
Good luck.
