There is a members only element to this already, maybe the next C&C will be more hush hush. That would fix the problem because there are not that many members.

Speaking of the stadium… Could everyone just show up to the auto-x at the stadium?
I want to work the door. I will be more than happy to tell people to fuck off.
Be careful what you wish for
We pay $1000 per day, and have a $5M insurance policy.
They “could”, but how is it controlled? We always encourage people to stop by and check things out. I don’t think that anyone on the WNY-SCCA side wants to deal with the liability of having a a few hundred extra cars show, trash left in the lots, and then inevitably 716 racing doing burn outs as they leave. We always insist on following traffic laws around the stadium. I’m not implying the most don’t know how to mind their manners, but we can’t risk losing the site for a car show just because of “that one guy”.
However I will not speak for the board members of WNY-SCCA, if you would like to seriously propose such a thing I can only suggest that someone go to a meeting held 7:30 PM, every first Monday of the month at:
Olympic Restaurant
4611 Genesee St,
Cheektowaga, NY 14225
FLAWLESS!!! I am crying from laughing so hard at that
I got this though. Here I wrote a script:
Signal Green RS7 - “Welcome, please forfeit your $5 I’m not a dbag tax and head over there, I would tell you to take up one space but you knew that.”
Volkswagen jetta with lime green wheels, a rust hood, and a Bernie bumper sticker at a 18.5 degree angle - “Please unbuckle your seatbelt and go drive off of a fucking cliff”
Simple really.
I’m sure telling someone to fuck off would go over very well.
I just did and they sent me a deposit for a truck…
^LOLLLLLLLLL (literally)
I vote quattro krant as the gate keeper. He will tell people exactly how he feels about their car LOL
Fenced in or controlled lots you can somewhat do this. Also, if you charge a registration and restrict to certain years or models. But this is a cars and coffee in a plaza parking lot. With other stores that regular people will go to, and people that think their car is the shit feel that they have the right to go to.
I’m honestly certain that a bunch of the people arguing in this thread have a car that shouldn’t be in the C&C but who’s going to tell them no?
Honestly, most people will end up respecting the “door men”. That way you can also group similar cars together. I’m telling you it worked fine in Houston and statistically there are WAY more douche bags there. (Just a population numbers thing.)
Why not? I’m sure if I told you to fuck off at a grocery store you’d walk away. xoxo 99% of people listen. If they get butt hurt they will start their own crappy meat down the street and the cops will go there.
The one club I was in hosted a car show at Twin Peaks once a month, we would literally fill the parking lot with 200-300 cars and never had an issue. We’d bring a few construction cones and park a truck at the main entrance. Welcome people in and at the same token, tell people to fuck off. Has been working fine for years. What is ssome Jetta driving vaping bro going to do, get out and beat you up?! Lets be serious.
You’re very negative
Do you want to find a solution or are you just mentioning reasons why things won’t work?
Cars and Coffee worked fine for two years and then grew large enough to be an issue…Lots of people want to make this work it seems like if we actually tried there could be a workable solution.
They had to do this at Cars and Coffee in Houston. There were literally thousands of cars trying to get in. You’d have the swag clubs coming in with their donks and poks and that is just not what the event is about. They started parking sections, corvette, viper, lambos, Porsche, classics, etc. They also started a separate show called super-car Saturdays. This event had reserved parking and to get a spot you had to pre-reserve it.
Supercar Saturday
Cars and Coffee Map
Score…
The Shelby would make super car shows!
I was nervous that I was one of the ones that doesnt have a car worthy, but I am posting in the thread…phewwww
I hope this doesnt end, it is my favorite thing over the past few years. Watching the event grow has been wonderful, getting involved with it has made for many enjoyable Sunday mornings.
I was talking with a few of the regulars and the comments were 100% the same…We thought this would be the last one based on the Jeep/No bumper/Crashed Bumper/Vape/Rite Aid Thieving/Roof Top Sneaking Bros and Hoes.
The other 100% comment was that I hope this isnt the last one because its the best event, nicest cars, enjoyable weekend experience for automotive enthusiasts.
Porsche & R8… Made me chuckle for some reason.
x2. There’s also something awesome about being about to do this on a Sunday morning and then utilizing the rest of the day to do something else. This event has been my favorite car related gathering in a long time.
Same here and my son loves the muffins at Orchard Fresh.
